Limassol, February 2012 - Head of Totalserve’s Scandinavian Desk, Christis Michaelides, has been elected on the Board of the Cyprus Nordic Countries Business Association.
Michaelides, a half Swede, was unanimously elected on the Board last week.
The Cyprus - Nordic Countries Business Association was created in 2006 by the three Nordic embassies, namely Denmark, Finland and Sweden, in cooperation with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It was a natural consequence of the entry of the Republic of Cyprus into the European Union, which provided a framework for closer relations between these two equally important parts of Europe.
The objective of the Association is to facilitate business relations between companies and individuals interested in doing business between the Nordic countries and Cyprus.
Michaelides holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Master of Science in Business Administration. He is a licensed Financial Advisor and before joining Totalserve, he had held key management positions in the financial services industry.
Michaelides is based at Totalserve’s Headquarters in Limassol and frequently visits Scandinavia to further develop and expand the company’s operations in the region.
