December 2007 - New offices signal the beginning of a new era

Limassol, December 2007The Totalserve Group  recently celebrated its 35th anniversary since its establishment in 1972 with a proclamation that the company is entering a new era.
At a celebratory reception on December 12 at one of Cyprus’ high-end hotels, Totalserve Chairman, Peter G. Economides, announced the purchase of a well-known beach-front hotel in Limassol, the town where the company is currently based, its imminent demolition and the erection in its place of an ultra modern multi-storey office complex, declaring their new offices would “signal the beginning of a new era.”

Addressing the four hundred clients, associates and friends of Totalserve who attended the reception, Economides announced that works on the demolition of the hotel would commence at the beginning of 2008 and that the entire project is expected to cost in excess of €25 million.

Economides explained that the new building, which will be called “Totalserve Tower,” will replace the company’s existing five-storey office building, “Totalserve House” and it should be ready in three years.

The new building will take up 7,000 sq.m. of space that will be utilized for offices, restaurants, a roof garden and a bank branch. It will also include a three storey underground parking measuring 4,800 sq.m.

Economides pointed out that the new Totalserve Tower would utilize space frame technology and that “its design will be based on that of modern office buildings found today in London or Dubai.”

To mark its anniversary, Totalserve organized in 2007 a series of celebratory events including the opening of its new office premises in Warsaw, a number of seminars and presentations in Europe and elsewhere in the world and a revamp of it corporate materials. The reception represented the culmination of the celebrations and included a photographic exhibition with pictures dating back to 1972.
